Laredo Young Professionals

Who we are…
Laredo Young Professionals was formed by the Laredo Chamber of Commerce in an effort to attract young people to get involved with the Laredo community  and do more than the ordinary to succeed and get noticed. Laredo Young Professionals is a group of youthful individuals that care about their professional career and are interested in doing more for themselves and their community.

Mission Statement
The mission of Laredo Young Professionals is to develop leadership skills; to encourage youth to succeed; to promote a business friendly environment among each other, and give back to our community through social work.

Community Involvement
LYP  will have a “Volunteer Campaign” to help other non-profit organizations by joining forces at their fundraising events. Support to our local High Schools by attending and volunteer for “Career Day” and give a presentation to the Laredo youth.

Give Back Events
Fundraiser events will be held  throughout the year to give back to the Laredo Chamber of Commerce and to the LYP Scholarship.

Networking
A relaxed environment to meet with other young professionals.
